15 Memories from this weekend.

1. Medevil Times. Even though we KNEW it was staged, we cheered like we were at an Eagles Superbowl, edging on our "Knight" who was looking at us like we were trekkies and he was a cast member from the show that thought we were pathetic. Ana's randomly strange and funny comments. Jessica's over the top cheering. The three of us cheering unbelievably loud.

2. Drinking 2 bottles of wine in a hotel room in the Hilton. Hiding cash underneath the TV. Chris pointing out that the furniture was ugly,then admitting that she felt like we hurt the furniture's feelings by saying that.

3. A spontaneous song that erupted on our way out of the hotel entitled "Let's blow this joint" which Dave has decided will be a song in his band. Us all packing into the elevator and signing the song together. Then, Colin deciding to climb a tree as I threw snowballs at him.

4. The van. 9 people -- 9 adults fitting into a minivan designed for 7. Us driving that way to New York and back and then fitting 10 in to the van for a brief ride through the Lower East Side.

5. Tunnel Dancathon. Us driving through the Lincoln tunnel and sponatenously dancing with some black girls in the car next to us. They were jamming out to something and we all just started dancing wiht them. Then, we rolled up the window and decided we should put on some music -- 80's slow songs, and we ended up singing them loudly.

6. The Remote lounge (http://www.remotelounge.com) in all it's glory. Dave in the Remote Lounge, talking to Lou Lou and showing her his tattoo. Evesdropping, spying, listening in, watching ourselves and how incredibly uncomfortable Chris and Faith were the entire time.

7. Spontaneous Square Dance.All of us spontaneously square-dancing outide of some random building in the lower east side in front of this group of good-looking, model-like men wearing large white cowboy hats. Dave singing "Skip to my lou" in a drunken Tom Waits kind of way...and the cowboys getting into a LIMO and driving off.

8. The MilkBar, based on Clockwork Orange, and having some bonding time with Chris. Looking over and realizing the place was supposed to be for punk rockers. Seeing mostly my friends including Ana and Kyle, lounging back watching "The Secretary".

9. Getting pizza at 4 in the morning. It hit the spot. It was so good.

10. Trip back to NJMe falling asleep in the back while everyone else tried to keep Mike awake for the drive home. It was the longest drive in the world and we got lost. Mike ran into a Holiday Inn to ask where the Hilton was. Kyle declared "Some men would just keep driving". I remember being very cold becuase someone suggested opening the window. Faith calling her husband...him getting mad..It was like 4 in the morning.

11. Blood on Bed Waking up and being disgusted by the fact that my non-fitted sheet rode down and I was sleeping on teh bare mattress all night. Looking down at the mattress and realizing there was BLOOD on it and that I had been sleeping in the dried stain thorughout the night. Kyle escorted me to the front desk and proclaimed "Excuse me Madam, but certainly you must be able to provide a voucher or something. If I wanted to sleep in blood, I could rent a room in the Super 8 on the strip. I could find a hooker hotel and sleep in blood there if I wanted."

12. Bonding with Dave Waking up early with Dave, going to Dunkin Donuts and bonding, then getting seriously lost on teh way back. Asking 2 people directions and getting the same bad directions from both. Dave prayed outloud quickly, we pulled over to ask this woman, and she informed us that she lived ON First STreet and told us to go straight and make a left. Dave calling it "cool that God did that so aesthically".

13. Ugly diner for Sunday brunch Waiting 1/2 hour to be seated at a "5-minute wait" diner. The hostess kissing Mike's hand when he asked about it and saying "If you'd made reservations, we may have been able to seat you sooner my dear". Sitting this diner on a Sunday morning, Kyle ordering a Bloody Mary, dealing with a kind of mean old waiter. Then, talking about band names for Ana, COLIN'S & Dave's band and Kyle proclaiming "Kickstand" to which we all screamed with joy. Me taping Dave as he called Anthony who informed us that the name is already in use by another band.

14. Cake That same diner, waiting until the candles on the cake Jessica made for me nearly burned the frosting, so that Dave could " video" the event (which he ended up missing). Receiveing presents from Jessica (journal, mix CD's, Vegetarian cookbook), Chris (1 year People mag), Faith (potpurri)

15. Colin's Smoothie Colin, at a Rest Stop, proclaiming that he wanted to buy me a Smoothie and commanding that I get a "Large" and that I get "Anything I wanted! That it was on him". I don't think I ever enjoyed a Smoothie more than that one.
